MOST of Burelli St, Wollongong, will be closed for five hours tomorrow, while the city council installs a new smoke exhaust fan on its 10-storey administration building's roof.
Three lanes will be closed from 6am-11am to allow a crane to operate. An eastbound lane will remain open but delays are expected and motorists are advised to use Market, Crown and Stewart streets.A city council spokeswoman said the 350kg smoke exhaust fan was part of a major upgrade of the council's fire services. It would provide better smoke extraction from levels nine and 10 in case of a fire.
